never felt pressurized to donate. in any case, the email was addressed to RPA members, if parents r not happy, can always unsubscribe, right? RPA was never pushy about such things. Btw, I m not on RPA committee. RPA's effort not appreciated and kena bombarded...sigh... -

the top x% of the graduates are awarded the Raffles Diploma, based on his school result and other overall factors, just like the HCI Diploma and NUSH Diploma -

No. The raffles diploma is more sophisticated than just top x%. there are 5 domains and must satisfy some min requirement in each of the 5 domains to have the basic diploma. Then merit and distinction I think requires merit or distinction in the specific domain.

You're not the only one :scratchhead:, I've read the booklet explaining everything about it but still :scratchhead: . My dd said she's clear about it, so okay, I don't have to worry. I think ultimately it's still the A levels results that are most important, the diploma is like a bonus?

The Raffles Diploma serves to differentiate the students and to capture their abilities, contributions and achievements in the five domains not reflected in the normal 'A' level certificate and testimonial.

So tt is to day without raffles diploma, the students can only apply to UK/us Universities after they get their A level results?
