Hi Blur Dad,
We did. Give others a chance mah. No point holding on to so many when our minds are already set on RI.Blur Dad:
Not sure any parent or student has actually inform ACSI that they want to reject their CO?
How about other schools? Has any parent or student inform those schools that they have awarded CO/WL that they are not going to take up the offer?
Cheers
For your info, my ds will put RI as his first choice so certainly, his CO from HCI will be definitely free up to the next WL in line .. afterall HCI didn't ask us to reply them so soon, so even if we write to them I don't think they will do anything till they consolidate again when students with CO/WL reply on 24/10 about their choice...So hope my little info helps.. -

shouldnโt throw away all the assessment books, textbooks, practice papers, etc after PSLE.
theyโre very valuable, precious to others who need them (costs $ to buy), esp. to P4 and P5 kids, next in line sitting for PSLE. give to needy students. -

So far, only ACSI and NYGH (?) have requested parents to inform them if they are giving up their COs which means that they will do something to convert WL to CO for others. But for other schools with no such instructions, I doubt if they have plans to do the same, otherwise they would have instructed parents liao.
Anyway, we did not appy ACSI and have not decided yet lah. -

It's very gracious and considerate of you. :rahrah:

NTUC collects textbooks for the needy every year. Maybe you can consider donating to them.
This article is outdated but will give you an idea of what NTUC does with the textbooks.
