i was thinkiing if ballet & chinese dance can be incoporated... is there such a class?
Yes, Dance Ensemble Singapore at Waterloo St offers contemporary Chinese dance lessons. They teach both Chinese dance and ballet. My DD attended 7 to 8 lessons then stopped cos she really wasn't independent enuf to go through the 2h training on her own (without mummy lah). Now, when i mention Chinese dance, she'll scream and protest. :faint:

Now Still Too Young to Decide -la!
Actually it's Better to let them Attend Separate Class ....
Coz Chinese Dance Kiddie Kinder Class R Real Cute .... At Least during My Gal's time ....
With ALL the Little Gals Singing and Dancing to Kiddie Songs ....
And A Lot of Animal Character Movement Impersonation   -
NAFA also offers classes in classical ballet and chinese dance. My CC (Dover CC) also offers balet and chinese dance (different teachers, different days). Perhaps you can check out your CC too. I think lots of CCs offer ballet, and some offer chinese dance too.
Does anyone know I can buy chinese dance handkerchifs from, in Singapore? Iβd rather not order online. -

If Young Age Join the Class, No Need Audition.
If Join Later, say Upper Pri, May Need to audition to see which Grade match to Skill level of the Kid .... -

Well, will try to see if can reintroduce Chinese dance to DD again in future... For now, will let her concentrate on ballet first.

Not too sure about which type of Chinese dance handkerchief, but you can try costume connection. The prices are reasonable.
