        poppy,
Yes, Dance Ensemble Singapore at Waterloo St offers contemporary Chinese dance lessons. They teach both Chinese dance and ballet. My DD attended 7 to 8 lessons then stopped cos she really wasn't independent enuf to go through the 2h training on her own (without mummy lah). Now, when i mention Chinese dance, she'll scream and protest. :faint:

Actually it's Better to let them Attend Separate Class ....
Coz Chinese Dance Kiddie Kinder Class R Real Cute .... At Least during My Gal's time ....
With ALL the Little Gals Singing and Dancing to Kiddie Songs ....
And A Lot of Animal Character Movement Impersonation

NAFA also offers classes in classical ballet and chinese dance. My CC (Dover CC) also offers balet and chinese dance (different teachers, different days). Perhaps you can check out your CC too. I think lots of CCs offer ballet, and some offer chinese dance too.

Does anyone know I can buy chinese dance handkerchifs from, in Singapore? I’d rather not order online.

Not too sure about which type of Chinese dance handkerchief, but you can try costume connection. The prices are reasonable.

wow... no nid NAFA lah.... i think for nw... normal classes @ those CC will do... i used to learn chinese dance at TPCC too, but our ahem... dance troupe was under a certain chinese clan ; we only used the room for weekly lessons. πŸ˜‰

need to check with D, maybe next yr, to see if she is interested in chinese dance lessons.

Thanks sista Funx3 for the info... πŸ˜„

More Chance of Sustaining the CCA thru the Years by having Structured Training. Coz the Gals will go for Beijing Academy of Dance Exam Every 2 years. πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
