the detailed curriculum briefing to parents is normally done at beginning of each year, in January (first few weeks after orientation).

for P4, it was conducted on Saturday morning 9am - 12 noon, January 15 2011. During the 3 hrs long session, it would also have touched based on base banding for P4.

          refer school calendar:-

so if you're interested & keen to hear P4 - come again next yr, January 2012. Refer calendar update again next yr, January.

              Hi,

My daughter is 3 years old this year. And we are looking to volunteer at RGPS for next year. Could anyone give us some advise as to what skillsets are much needed in RGPS?

              Thanks & Best Regards

u can find out more from the school's website especially the take-in rate for P2B in recent years by distance
                    http://www.rgps.moe.edu.sg/

and what the PVs usually do
                    https://sites.google.com/a/rgpspvg.org/member/home

u also need to submit the application form which can be obtained here
                    http://www.rgps.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=1054134

                    hope this helps.....

                      Hi destiny1027

There is lots of activities on every wed in RGPS between 1145am-130pm and lots of PV are needed.
E.g character building program, reading program, art & craft, etc.
During PV interview, you should tell them you are available on every wed at the above timeslot n can commit to be there every wed.
If you are working full time, they will ask u "how can u contribute since u are working full time", u must say your hours are flexible n able to commit on every wed timeslot.
Some CCA e.g basketball also need PV too weekly.
Some other ad hoc activities are a one time event e.g P1 orientation, heritage week, cultural week, mooncake festival, etc.
The PV committee is very nice. They help u track your hours too. If your hours are lower than other PV, they might call u 1st (priority) without opening the activities to all. I was the one tt they called…heehee
                      Good luck!

                        babyJC:
Any idea what are the school bus charges for 2 way? or anyone here has the school bus uncle contact number? Is orientation day the right time to make bookings? TIA.

I live in Bt Batok, am charged $95 for 2 ways. Used to live Jur West, $110 if i remember correctly. Depends on where you live. Mr. Ang is the overall in charge i think 96356646. Otherwise, he can direct you I'm sure.
