The Alternative Story (TAS) - Discussion
-
I hope that you are referring to the P1 class that meant for the students going P1 next year. Actually, the teacher in the class will go through the grammar, comprehension and composition with them. Sometimes, it might touch on vocabulary.
They also involve student in the spelling during classes. Basically, there is not much homework. -
I registered my daughter for P2 class next year. And also talked to the admin on the coverage. 1 hour definately on compo, the next 1 hr on grammar, vocab & compre (on rotation i think). Very specific. Better than the current stella programme in school, tell story expect students to know all…

Actually from my observation, it seemed that grammar and vocab might rotate but comprehension and composition will definitely cover every week. -

Thanks Monster Mummy for info…yes my DD is going to be in P1 next year…
how long is your kid in the centre?
Any mummies kids in Bt timah branch?? going for the P1 class -
My kid is in the centre for few months. But I find that the kid did improve in terms of the writing.
But there might be some memorisation work for the composition, as they are trying to get the children to able to apply the phrases learn and apply under different situation. -
Hi, does tas require to do assessment for a say p1 kid to be enrolled in their p1 program?
