For questions like these, I wonder how should the student answer during PSLE.

          (1) Just learnt that spinal cord is an organ. Thanks to this forum!! But is it taught as such in schools?

          (2) Believe that it's taught that flower do not have chloroplast.

Please help on this question :

            http://i56.tinypic.com/2d1u350.jpg\">

Ans key is (1) but my dd explains that D protects the spinal cord so her ans is (3). Is spinal cord a vital organ?

I agree with your dd answer. Spinal cord is an organ as it is made up of tissues (definition of an organ) and it is also a vital one.

            Dear atutor2001 :thankyou:

Hi - I have quite a few science queries accumulated from sometime back. Not much luck checking with the Science teacher - so I am posting them here. I thank in advance whoever answers them - and do believe it should help your kids too. Thanks

                      styrofoam cup qn.

                      (A) - coz the air trapped in the cup will be compressed so it’ll show a little bit of water in cup.

                      (D) - since air can escape, the water level inside and outside shd be the same snce same air pressure

                      YA?
