Hi all - I am a newbie..

My family and I live in Shanghai for almost 10 years and we hope to send our kids back to attend the secondary school here. I have a 10 years old boy and a 9 years old girl.
My kids have gone to international department at local chinese school for the 1st 3 years and are now in international school. They are very strong in Mathematics and Chinese, however, i would say that their english standard would not be as strong as the Singapore students here. I have also hired chinese coach to teach them table tennis, my kids are quite good at table tennis.

With the above, can anyone comment what are the chances of them getting to a good school? And if anyone of you have friends / or yourself coming back for the education? If so, are they competitive enough?

if I were you, I would approach the targeted good school directly and arrange for entrance test (if needed and if possible) and go from there and follow the principal's advice
