Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome. My edd is 4 feb. Excited and afraid at the same time. Didnt expect #2 to be so fast as i was still breastfeeding my #1 then. I am now thinking whether i should send my #1 to childcare next year?

Childcare is a Good Alternative,
If U Can't Cope at Home, ie, No Maid, No Parents / PIL, ....
Then U Won't B Too Stressed ....
Not Easy to Juggle with an Active Toddler and a New Born Baby at the Same time .... -

It can be enjoyable being a SAHM…baby-sitting kids and hubby. I’m sitting at kopitiam now enjoying my coffee while waiting for hubby who is having his catarat op done now. -

Just wanted to chat about how we SAHMs dressed ourselves. For me, practicality and comfort are the most important factors. So, my daily attire is a pair of shorts or casual skirt with a shirt (collar cannot be too big) or polo shirt with my crocs or flat sandals. I will not ever wear a pair of heels unless its for dinner at nite and only if its with DH’s business colleagues. It came to a stage that I felt "stress up" when I have to go to any formal dinners. -

Oh, I must be quite sloppy then. I have jeans skirt, my one & only skirt, I wore it occasionally. 95% of the time I wore tees, 3/4 pants & addidas shoes. I prefer to cover my feet and I only know how to drive with covered shoes. Hardly wear sandals unless it's a short stroll to my mum's place. Of course no heels at all

I dress very casually. I’m in shorts or short skirts and t-shirts or tank tops. Sometimes in 3/4 length khakis. Usually in my crocs, sometimes in my sneakers. No closed toes or heels coz of my bunions.
I walk to pick DS1 up from his primary school. The other mummies, and many of the maids, dress better than I do. But I’m not going to take out my sundress and strappy sandals for the 10min walk to school!
As a concession, I buy new t-shirts and skirts/shorts regularly, to make sure my clothes don’t start looking tatty… -
