Wow, the comic strips used in the website really strikes a cord.

I think its really time parents look towards addressing such issues, face on. Otherwise the drift between the child and the parent will only increase. Better to start young when the child is still 'controllable'.

I hope they will share some hands on skills or methods we can use ....

Well … not yet la … haha , she is learning new things everyday … watching the TV cantoons and seeing me surf the net. I am always thinking for new ways to better communicate with her. I think also good to understand the harmful effects of the cyberworld mah … not only do teenagers get addicted to gaming online … I think my younger sister is also into online game … Some things are always good to learn and good to know … I have register myself … have you ?

I think this conference comes that the right time … did you all read Today’s newspaper on the 10th Sept 2009 " The Govt is mindful of Cyberwellness , it says that research from NIE found out that student surf the net for more than 27 hours per week on average ,for me I think that a bit too much. Better understand more on the Cyberwellness ba.

Yes there is. I called the organiser and was informed that there is a discount for registration with more than 10 people.

If you are keen please PM me as I am hoping to gather others so that we are able to attend this at a discounted rate.

Yes it is. Registration can be done over the counter during the day itself.
Alternatively, you can book your seats earlier by registering online
