anyone lived in a kampong during your childhood? I did live in one off Yio Kang Road. The track leading to the kampong no longer exist and is now a thick forest how I miss my childhood home

hi pinky, i didn't live in a kampong.. but some weekends my parents would bring us to Lim Chu Kang to visit our uncle who had a farm on Neo Tiew Lane 1.. those were among the best childhood memories i had.

we would go fishing in the pond behind their house, catch frogs and butterflies, watch eagles flying, take a boat through the mangroves out to sea, and look for fireflies at night..

i miss those days so much..

i have been to Neo Tiew area a few times and I must say it is one of the ver few places left to see 'kampong' style houses and farms. At least I don't see highrise flats/condo in that area and there is so much greenery..

The UK manufacturer is still producing it, but the market has been reduced to just UK. Some folks selling it in Singapore through Facebook:

I love it too, especially the black ones... but it kept getting stuck to my teeth.
