I like to dress up though! Whenever there is a wedding dinner, I'll get my nice (non-nursing!) dresses out, exchange my glasses for my contact lenses (this happens twice a year...), apply make-up (foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blusher, lipstick), put on the bling bling, and (even though it hurts like hell) my high heels. Finally, i'll *gasp* even comb my hair!

Then I look at myself and think, gosh, what a pretty lady! I still have it in me eh?

But, DH will always say...eh, why so much make-up? Don't recognize you anymore! No need lah...

I dunno whether to  or :stompfeet: .

          Hi

Just wanted to chat about how we SAHMs dressed ourselves. For me, practicality and comfort are the most important factors. So, my daily attire is a pair of shorts or casual skirt with a shirt (collar cannot be too big) or polo shirt with my crocs or flat sandals. I will not ever wear a pair of heels unless its for dinner at nite and only if its with DH's business colleagues. It came to a stage that I felt \"stress up\" when I have to go to any formal dinners.
As for me, my usual style is blouse and slack ....... :please:
          with comfort sandals
either for fetching my gal fr school or grocery shopping.

Hmm…..think abt it, i dun even have a ¾ pant or a bermuda in my wardrobe……lolz

oh yes, no heels for me too......fortunately am not short....... 😉

Both my dds dress better than me. I dont hv much time to dress up myself ( only given 5 mins) either to fetch my dd1 to and fro school or sending her to enrichment classes during weekend. My dd2 is very impatient n cranky especially she knows tat we are going out.

However I will put on light make up whenever we headed to town. I will wear 3/4 pants n Jean on most occasion. Put on short or Jean skirt only when i shaved my legs…haha

Hi ladies! Been wanting to join such forum.

I am a SAHM with a 2.5 yr toddler boy and 2 months baby girl. Been a SAHM since I was pregnant with my 1st. 3 yrs + now. It’s a love-hate relationship as a SAHM. Love watching my boy grows. but sometimes wish I’m back at the workforce.
With my 2nd one, won’t be expecting to go back to work for at least another year…
Hope to make new friends here!

I like the part on \"love-hate relationship\"....it described how I feel too. I have been a SAHM for 6yrs now .....
