My dd took all three UNSW in her PSLE year. Why not? There's no need to study nor revise for UNSW. You just show up and sit for the test. And if you do well, it's a boost for self-esteem and good for the portfolio.

Hi jtoh,

You're right especially when the principal present the award to those had scored High Destination and Destination in Science.

They get very motivated and put even more effort on the subject.

Your school very good - this is not practised in any of our kids' primary schools. Award for UNSW performance??? certainly no. LOL.

Hi Brenda10, I think your spellcheck is too enthusiastic. It should be High Distinction and Distinction, not 'destination'. šŸ˜„

And Sista here is :scratchhead: my Head ....
Destination .... To Where -huh? :?
Hi Belle,

Leanne

Hi Leanne,
Yes, Edusave Scholarship is based on year end overall results.

Eligibility for EESIS is based on PSLE T-score and is only applicable to independent sec schools. šŸ˜‰
Hi Leanne,
Ya, EESIS can offset $200 off sch fees every month.... :moneyflies:

Hi Belle,

Thanks.Am sure your dd will be receiving the 400 pocket money too.

Guess as long as year end results around 90% should be able to receive that 400 dollars right?

Cheers,
Leanne
Wow... year end results around 90%, that is, very excellent result.. sure can get the $400... I believe less than 10 in the level can achieve an overall of 90%.....

Hi Brenda,

True...I agree with you that the sch is psyching the kids up for PSLE with the 100% weightage for prelims.

Wow...your DD is so lucky that her CL teacher is so committed. It's great that she's going thru ē†č§£é—®é¢˜ & doing compo with the class. DD's CL teacher is very quiet...not much action leh.... :skeptical:
Hi Tinkerbelle

Think may be her CL teacher is worry and that' s why give them more practice during this period.

Thank you for sharing.

This will be good for those who do better in prelim than SA1!

Think the school is deliverd the message to the children that PSLE is another chance if you work hard!

Unfortunately for My Gal, She Does Better at SA1 than Prelim.
But I Told Her As Long as She Does Well in PSLE, the Prelim Does Not Matter. šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

Hi Funx3,
:hi5: DD also did better in SA1 than her prelim but not to worry, the most important one is still PSLE....Jia you!! :rahrah:
My Gal the Crystal-Ball-Gazer has this Prediction (Half-Baked) to Say of hre Exam Results ....
