My Gal Would Love to have the Companionship of a Dog Tagging and Snuggling up to Her ....

(Mummy here Don't Mind some Snuggling Too πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ )

But So Far the Maltese I Saw Looks Real Furry ....
Don't Know if very High Maintainance or Not ....
Need to brush hair often... but that's part of spending time together? Or you can cut the hair. Maltese dun shed even though long hair. But well... do your own research and consider the others' suggestions too. The maltese is a bad guard dog. It thinks everyone is a friend.

A mini Schnauzer may be good but they are soooooo yappy!! Chihuahua? I find them rather rat-like. Not my thing. Ooops! Chihuahua lovers, please don't hate me...

Maltese dun have undercoat. Dogs made for temperate climes, like huskies have 2 coats... an undercoat and a top coat. Compared to huskies, Maltese are actually not very resistant to extreme cold.

Now that you mention it. I wish was my hair too!!

Poodles don’t shed, or shed minimally. I’m not sure about their temperament though. They strike me as being a little neurotic.

How about a poodle cross? Like a mini labradoodle (labrador and poodle cross) or a cavoodle (cavalier and poodle cross)? They don’t shed and are really friendly.

I like how a mini Schnauzer looks too. πŸ™‚ The one my friend has isn't yappy, but then again he is old.

Long hair is not an issue so long as they don’t shed. But you have to make sure you brush them well and they don’t get matted.

Labradoodles and cavoodles are expensive. Because they’re bred to be hypoallergenic, non-shedding etc. There are only a couple of shops in Singapore that sell them.

I thought you had an eye on a border collie previously?
