Don't think so. It is due to Fed not printing money (QE3) and USD goes up against SGD. HKG is tied to USD.

Wow…its seem so many of us are travelling to HKG in Nov. Me still not yet do study on the places to visit in HKG… but definetly will go to disneyland with my girl. anyone care to share their itinarary plan?

I am bringing one teenage girl and 9 yr old boy during first week of Dec.

Day 1 - Afternoon flight, check in hotel, rest.
Day 2 - Noah's Ark, Ladies Street
Day 3 - Ocean Park, The Peak + Madame Tussauds
Day 4 - Photo taking @ 1881 Heritage, Space Museum (depending on what shows they have), Shopping @ Times Square, Jardine Crescent
Day 5 - Disneyland, night at Hollywood hotel
Day 6 - Disneyland, night flight home

oh no...so means got to plan how much to change and exchange asap!

My is a chop-chop trip more for DD...

day 1 - morning flight - afternoon (if not tired, go shopping), evening symphony of lights
day 2 - ocean park
day 3 - lantau island and more shopping
day 4 - check in disneyland
day 5 - check out disneyland flight home

btw, there is a 20% off disneyland hotels for certain days if u r interested....

no one thought of gg over to macau while in hongkong?


i did mine this way, during aug, last month:

day 1: sin - macau
day 2: sightseeing in macau
day3: macau - hongkong - disneyland
day 4: ocean park - ladies market
day 5: tim sum - shopping - movie - evening flight back to singapore

initial plan was to go over to Lamma Island on day 4 for seafood dinner after ocean park but end up too lazy…
