Hi parents, thanks for sharing on the forum.


It has been chaotic in the past 2 weeks for my wife and myself. We lived so near to Rosyth School but was balloted out during the recent Phase 2C even though we are <1km. We were totally unprepared until we chance upon this forum ! We frantically search high and low and visited school at sengkang, hougang,serangoon and Ang Mo Kio.

We finally decided on Townsville after touring the school and speaking to a few school administrator. They are indeed friendly and nice. The school envirnoment looks clean and simple, the layout is unobstructive and with good sunshine around the hallway, classes.

Well, we brought our daughter for Phase 2C supplementary registration and she seem pleased with the school…heheh…afterall, she didn’t have many to compare. Checked the website and appears that there are not much balloting this time round. Good thing that we didn’t proceed to consider the other school which is having another round of balloting …whew.

By the look of it, my gal will be joining the P1 in 2010.See you parents !

I am new to the forum too. Currently staying in BIshan. Did not get into PV for any of the school at Bishan so I have to try my luck with phase 2C for either CHS or KCP. Never have good lucky draw luck so need to think of my backup. Townsville is <1km of my house so it is my backup. I am glad to read that some of the moms here are quite happy with Townsville. I was worry before due to past comment of the school. Thanks a lot for sharing your view on the school. I sure help in calming our nerve

Do we know if the school going single session anytime soon?

I am happy with my girl’s results…think she had been listening (told her she must be careful and double check) and done her best. Am excited about the Prize Giving on Fri though… How about your kids? Are the papers manageable?

I am happy too but think they have room to improve as some are due to carelessness esp my P5 girl.

I will be going to Prize Giving on Fri. Which level is yr kid?

Hi! My daughter is in P1 this year too. How is your son coping?

I attended the breakfast talk by the Principal yesterday and it was enlightening! I also like the fact that the FT was there to answer our queries and to fill us in on how our child is faring in class. On the whole, I like such sessions as it allows us to understand the school better and I hv a chance to speak to her teacher which makes us feel more assured sending our child there.

She seems fine too! Generally, she enjoys school but I think we need to reinforce more money sense into her. She can give money to friends or lose money easily. :roll:

Is ur son in any CCA? My girl didnt join any at this stage.
