I was at Popular IMM and saw several copies for both of these titles. Maybe you can call up to ask for internal transfer to the convenient branch near you.

No need to make a trip. Call Popular IMM to ask if they can transfer to nearest outlet near you. However, you would need to call that outlet to contact you once books have been transferred.

My daughter had a similar kind of test for the first pic posted...it is tough to have to read every single hanyu pinyin to do wan2 cheng2 dui4 hua4 :yikes:

This is crazy man !!! I am having prob reading each hanyu pinyin (mental decode) as an adult. How can P1s be given such tough things as test ? Holistic my foot !!! :mad: sorry very fed up and stressed

My DD1 who is in P3 this year is still having HYPY tested in her exams! :shock: But am letting her to read story books with NO HYPY

There will still be some hanyu pinyin...but much lesser as child moves upwards. It is good to have some hypy so that child can rely on it if he/she doesn't know characters.

Parents are more educated than before, so MOE is taking advantage by making parents involved in children's education. :frustrated:
