I noticed that DS's calculator has a sticker from the school.
Thinking of getting a spare one just in case but if need sticker then better don't buy.
DS school allows only one calc, we got the new one certified.
Can't find any battery compartment leh.
Scary part is don't see any solar cell panel as well.
DS has dropped it at least 20 times as well but will working fine I guess.

Real robust calculator.[/quote]H, DD is using Sharp EL-509WS and we just changed the batteries after checking with the staff in Popular Book shop yesterday.
The batteries model are Energizer A76. -

My dd is using this model too. I have just changed the battery. You need to open up the back cover with screw driver to access to the battery. -
Hi, DD's teacher still give one set of EL and CL prelim paper as homework for today. :roll:

The battery is one standard AAA battery... -

Real robust calculator.[/quote]My DD also using the same model. Her sch conducted an excercise to change the calculator batteries for all P6 last mth....juz pay $1 for the batteries. A \" approved calculator\" sticker w the sch logo was pasted at the back of the calculator. -

Yes, all calculators and e-dictionaries need to be certified with a sticker from the sch. All of DD's classmates bought an extra calculator to be certified by the sch...just in case..Do the calculator and electronic chinese dictionary need verification from the school.

Maybe your DD's sch wants the students to maintain their momentum.
DD's teacher will officially stop giving out homework from today. Finally, DD can spare me some time to do our own revision....
Only 3 more days to go...
