So sad. How does the 8 year old reckon he’s going to take revenge? It’ll be a vicious cycle if this continues. I wish some social workers would reach out to them. The child needs counselling to help him get over his grief.

Very sad case. I guess it’s in our Chinese blood to indulge in conflicts and revenge.

Mm...don't think it is in our Chinese blood. We don't feel so revengeful towards the Jap for killing our ancestors do we? Think they watch too much movies that drive in the wrong values..

according to Chinese newspapers, this 8 yr old boy is doing well in school. Just hope that there’re school psychologists or professional social workers from this primary school who can reach out to this boy, straighten out his thoughts, dun think of ever revenging his uncle when he grows up.

the school should also reach out to these boy’s parents, because they need help to overcome grief of their sibling’s death, come to terms with it. must step out of the vicious cycle.

actually the father also very pitiful, when you read the article reported in the Chinese newspapers. He squat down at the entrance of his wife’s door for hours - with a new plastic bag of baby diapers in his hands, waiting for the door to open, so that he can pass pampers to his wife for his son’s use, when his son was a tiny baby. But his wife’s relatives throw slippers at him, made him leave.

So what did the father do to make them hate him?

wan bao didn’t report the reason(s) why the wife’s family hated him so much.

at this moment, even though police interogated & drill him, but he kept mum about whole issue. Mentally, he is exhausted, emotionally drained & badly shaken. He’ll be guilt stricken for life - memories of his ex wife & beloved son will haunt him forever. He needs help psychologically, emotionally. His family also did not disclose any info to public. Think need more time …

This case quite drama. I suspect the dead woman’s family is not so simple also. But for that kind of hate from the woman’s family the husband must had done something very terrible.
