Hi Guitar, am glad your daughter found it easy. Mine too agreed that some of the methods were very time consuming even tho it was a 3 mark question etc. Am doing my own mini-poll… Has your daughter always been good at math? And is she from a top school?

It was ok. But most of my friends said it was difficult. Btw, whats the answer 4 q15 of paper 2? Is it 199?

Wow. The kids who found the paper easy, may you get good grades. For average kids (like my own), I hope they don’t get discouraged.

Daughter cannot remember the answer, which question was that? Her friends in school found the Paper 2 difficult and have resigned to te fate that they might fail the exam.

So sad isn't it? My daughter's confidence shook this year when her math marks plummeted and it was so difficult to build up her confidence in herself and with all the homework, revision, tuition and supplementary classes in school, and hardworking, MOE has done it again. Some of my daughter's friends who are pretty good math students found it hard, all the more those who are struggling with the subject will be upset and lose faith in themselves. And these are alright studens who may be good in the other 3 subjects but alittle weaker in Math. Am just giving my opinion 'tho am sure they are also many kids who found it a breeze and I'm very happy for them. Praying very hard for the best!
