Ms tay:

Ds said that both paper 1 and 2 were easy like hell maybe he could score full mark but most of his classmates said paper 1 was difficult šŸ•ŗ

Sorry huh but wat do you feed your DS that he says both papers are easy?
He has super brains!
Fyi, I'm probably one of those parents who is crying my lungs out because my very very dear son didn't come out of exam hall smiling!

Hi hashroop, i read through all the posts on the Math exam today, and can't resist dropping you a note...

In every exam, there are bound to be students who find the papers difficult and some (or maybe one?) who find the papers 'easy like hell'. For those who find the Math paper difficult, don't despair. Sometimes, the results is not as bad as you think. Tell you child to forget about the Math paper, as
it is already over. Instead, encourage your child to focus on the
upcoming Science & Chinese papers for next week. I am very sure your child will do well, with your encouragement & support.. šŸ˜„

For those who find the Math papers easy, don't be too big-headed (ops, twatao, I don't mean you.. ). Continue to work hard for the Science & Chinese papers and give your best in the final lap of PSLE next week!

That was what I told my DS, who is one of the lucky ones who find the Math papers relatively easy, as compared to his school prelims exam, but definitely not to the extent of 'easy like hell' lah (he does not have a super brain lah)! šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

Jia-you.. Jia-you!!! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:
Should be around that.

DS says he had around one hour to recheck paper 2.

Hi ngbrdad,
Pls refer to my DD1's http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=1727&start=1590. Missing Q44 for 2011 Rosyth P6 Prelim Science paper supplied by Jeremy..
Any link for the Nan Hua Pri 2011 P6 Prelim Science paper online?

VC's mum

Hi asked DS to do the Rosyth and Nan Yang science papers after his nap but found out that he has done both before in school.
And Jeremy's set has question 44 missing .
The schools exchange exam papers amongst themselves. After prelims, they started giving the kids the 2011 prelim papers from other schools. In fact, DS school discourage the parents from buying additional prelim papers from external vendor.

OrangeJuice:

Why cant the invigilators remind the kids to write number of the chosen question when they asked the kids to fill in their name and index number ???
They do remind, or in this case did the invigilator forget to remind?

ngbrdad:
My friend's son is from ACS primary and apparently whole school found it tough.

Now that's not very good news................
This a bit of a surprise to me. ACS prelim 2011 paper was one of the toughest. Compared to that PSLE should not be so difficult what?
What time is Paper 1 ending?

9.05 am.
Yesturday my ds class was released late after the first paper as he said the invigilator was kind of slow .... End up they left w too little time to eat and my ds didn't had anything for recess 🤷 ... He was v hungry after paper 2. So last night I bought a bread for him to eat during today's recess break incase they are release late again .

DS brings along a snack during this PSLE period as I do not want him to rush to buy food for recess. It should be a relaxing recess for them with ample time to rest and go washroom before reporting for next paper.
:hi5: Me too. I'm sending sandwich and packet drink.

If the Qs are correct, here are the Ans:

P1Q27: 30 marbles
Working: 5 units - 90 = 2 units
1 unit = 30

P1Q28: 2400 grams
Working: 6 units = 900 grams
1 unit = 150 grams
150 X 16 = 2400 grams
hope tis helps :imcool:
