      Leanne:
      Hello Belle,

Yes, holidays sound nice but packing doesnt sound nice.

After much thoughts, DS has decided Europe as a destination.

      Cheers,
      Leanne
      Hi Leanne,
Wow...lucky you!!! That will be a nice reward for DD1 & you....
Will you be back before the PSLE results are out?

No worries about packing la. It'll be all worth it. Anyway, you should be a pro in packing now after your Hokkaido trip...keke

        Vanilla Cake:

        Hi Brenda10/Tinkerbelle,
If you don't mind, could you pls share the reason/s for not taking HCL? Thks for your feedback,
        VC's mum

        Hi VC's mum

DD was not chosen by the school to take up HCL at end of P4 due to the cut off point for taking HCL was 85 and she was shortage by a few marks.

We did not appeal but just encourage DD to continuous buck up her CL by reading more CL story books as we believe this will help her to build up the good foundation and get ready for HCL if she has a chance for it in Secondary school.

          Elpis:
Hi all, can anyone enlighten me any aggregates r awarded for students taking higher Chinese?

          Hi Elpis,

The score for Higher MT will not be reflected in the T-score and can only be added to the T-score if you apply for a SAP sch.

The students will get a grade for HTML: Distinction (3 marks will be awarded), Merit (2 marks will be awarded) and Pass (1 mark will be awarded). If you don't apply for a SAP sch, the HMTL grade will allow you to continue taking HMTL in sec sch.

          Hope this helps. 😂

Took out DS1’s NDS to charge last night.

Luckily still managed to find it after I hid it away many months ago.
He still needs to wait in school till after 11+ to come home with his little brother though.

Btw when is the PSLE marking break ?

All the best to all P6. Most will be having last paper today. It is time to relax and enjoy..... :imcool: 🕺

After that they can party all day n party all night , do what ever they want :celebrate: 🕺

My DS1 packed 2 sets of clothing in his bag. His sleeping over at his best friend's bungalow tonite, who also happens to be his classmate. Going straight after their science paper. Both not involve in HMT so today can skateboard and cycle all night. Time to play hard now.

Good morning to all! 😂 For some unknown reasons, I feel particularly restless this morning. Could it be because today is the last of the 4 main papers to be tested? Withdrawal symptoms? Haha! Anyone feels the same way?

Ditto.. plus the gloomy grey weather lagi restless

                        Mayl:
                        Hi every 2011 PSLE parent,

I am writing to beg 🙏 your kindness to share with all the 2012 PSLE's parent which are the most effective assessment books/resources so far you have use to revise with your kid for all subjects?

Next year will be my turn.. very worried :nailbite: as my kid is only a average boy so far.
We mainly depended on the past year top school exam papers. DS does not enjoy doing assessment books.
For Maths : We used On Sponge(Need to order online) and Raffles Tough Maths(can buy from Popular).
For Science : Guide book is a must, text book simply does not have enough info. We only bought one assessment book conquer series.
For English : Did not buy any assessment books. Mainly did the exam papers. And for some components like Synthesis and Transformation did additional practise from 2009 exam papers(online).

                        http://www.orlesson.org/orp/ScienceExam.html

DS is not very hardworking, so this is all we could do  and this is all we had time for, what with HW and sup classes.
                        Hope this helps.
