The last question (booklet b)? About the spring one.

spring R-add loads to it then remove loads from it.
      b) If the original length of spring R is 3cm, what will the length of the spring after all the loads are removed? Why? (rough idea of the question) šŸ˜›

      Help and thanks! šŸ™‚

My ans is : 4cm. After the loads were added and removed, the spring extended by 1cm, which makes it 4cm.

      my dd also says 4cm.

My ans is : the blood flows through the heart once in the fish while the blood flows through the heart twice in the human.
based on my son's memory....he drew out the pic for me.

light source--->small square cardboard---->metal ball--->bigger square cardbord but same height as the metal ball--->screen (all these are in side view profile). His answer is a square - (the square blocks the metal ball since they are of the same height).

then it should be circle right..as firstly the small square cardboard ball not going to have any effect..though the 3 rd object which is a square cardboard, has the same height as the ball, it is within shadow of the cirle metal ball..
            < O X...

my dd says in front of the light source there is something like a wall with a hole in it so when she drew the line starting from the hole, the metal ball's shadow will be cast on the screen. Her answer is the circle.
ok then it should be circle right..

My answer was that in a fish, the blood is pumped straight to the rest of the body from the respiratory organ (gills) but in a human, the blood is pumped back to the heart from the respiratory organ (lungs) before being pumped to the rest of the body. Hope I'm right!
