hi ngbrdad, i'm interested to know the reasoning given by the HOD.
        did he/she give any?
        thanks ~

Ms Tay posted the reason given by the HOD here yesterday. Need to check thru the various posts.

actually come to think of it, depletion of water makes more sense now coz I was thinking the soil part is sealed, true - evaporation of water from the soil will condense on the inner side of the sealed cup and flow back to the soil but there is another outlet - from the stomata of the leaves thru respiration. Furthermore, the CO2 is also given out by the leaves through respiration - plants respire all the time rite? Hence, the plant uses its own co2 to photosynthesis. But too bad for my son, he chose 'co2' as the answer. :slapshead:

But nevermind, at least other than science paper which he says very tricky, the others seem ok. Now, I'm bringing him to macdonald's for breakfast as he has no HMT. Think he deserves a good break.[/quote]Absolutely correct.Poor children, atleast now they are relieved off the stress.em....my son has HMT today and i will have to wait for him to come back home.planning something big for the weekend.

DS slept at 12 midnight yesterday.

He is going for outing with his friends today.
First time going out on his own.
Let's see whether he comes back on time or not in the evening.
          No HMT for your DS?

          Enjoy.

Hi, met my sister in law (teacher of one of the primary school) lat night and she mentioned to us the Science paper was tough as some of the children in the good class cannot complete the paper and in tear.

Nephew in top class of a boys' school also said some classmates could not complete the paper. DD's classmates managed to complete all, and she also from top class of girls' school. However, she found the paper toughest of all, considering she had consistently attained >85 marks in all Science exams.

I would think tt my ds science prelim was tough and he commented tt psle science booklet B is more difficult then his school science prelim booklet b. But booklet A of psle is easy.

Ask him to carry his handphone along .
And he must provide us with contact numbers of 3 of his friends going for the outing.
Anyway it's time for us to slowly let go and let him be more independent.
