      for my daughter i will ask her to draw circles.


      she is ok with it so far. She will draw the drawing as below..

      then circle both the 4th and 5th position to show it is basically 1 person. then count them all. so the answer here will be 8 people in the queue.

      Left 1st 2nd 3rd 4th

      () () () () () Right
      5th 4th 3rd 2nd 1st

      i think other mummies will have similar methods which their kids understand.. ๐Ÿ™‚

          I've been wondering what this heuristics things is all about and was worried it was something complicated that I had missed out on. Having seen those screen shots I realised that it's just common sense & logic really!

              billy has some chickens and dogs. He has more chickens than dogs. the total number of legs both animals hve is 20. how many dogs does billy have?

              the ans is 2 dogs.(and 6 chken)
              but can the ans b 3 dogs (and 4 chken๏ผ‰ also?

                      actually its a lousy question. how can a P1 solve this, my hubby was asking. usu for guess n chk the total no. of animals is given. but for this question it isnt.
