      MandyMummy:
:boogie: hi, Brenda, PSLE ordeal is over for you. Is your dd enjoying her post PSLE party? I still have 1 more day.

Btw, have you started packing and clearing your dd's books? Somehow I'm not looking forward to that activity leh. :siam:

      Hi MandyMummy,

      Good morning

Yes, DD was very happy after the party.

Our clearing would start with past year papers then follow by those assessment books (touched or untouch) and guide books.

BTW, all the best and good luck to your child for today HCL paper and can celebrate tonight. :rahrah:

        Aiyah ....

That is Super Easy if your P6 kid is the Youngest!

Just Dispose of everything .... Except social studies.
Coz My Sec Sch Boys Advise my Gal to Keep, P5 ones as Well (unfortunately I have Kalang guni the Whole Lot last year  ),
as it has some good references for the Sec Sch SS ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰
Thank you sista for your great advice.

I have kept the social study book for P5 as I heard that it will be useful when they are in Secondary School.

However, now the problem is where is the book as my house has too many books now! :slapshead:

                  Hi ksme,

Thank you and we are really very ่ฝปๆพ now. :boogie:

Later we will go and look for DVD ๅค่ฃ…็”ต่ง†ๅ‰งใ€ŠๆญฅๆญฅๆƒŠๅฟƒใ€‹as we heard that this show is the No. 1 show in China now!

We will also take the opportunity to clear those DVDs on hand as well as EL and CL story books.

Just like other P6 parents the preparation of PSLE was by doing a lot of past year papers and also make use of Nov/Dec holiday before the P6 start.

PSLE is a National Exam with about 45,000 pupils unlike the individual school which has only around 300 โ€“ 400 pupils. As such it is very difficult to judge or estimate what will be the outcome base on their school result especially they are in neighbourhood school.

Perhaps just like what DD had learnt from ่ฒๅ“ฅof ็ปผ่‰บๅคงๅ“ฅๅคง during the magical show competition: ไธๅˆฐๅŒ—ไบฌ๏ผŒไธ็Ÿฅๅฎ˜ๅฐ. Important is that DD has to learn to accept whatever result that turn out and then go to the school that is suitable for her.

Just try our best and ensure that the child is healthy and not too stress for the battle.

                  My 2 cents thought
Thank you Brenda for your reminder. Enjoy yourselves (your dd and you) for the next 3 months before Sec 1 begins. ๐Ÿ•บ ๐Ÿ•บ

No lah, I gave him till 2000 to clear his graduate books, until now they are still on the shelves. :frustrated:
So I think I have a 11 year grace period. :imcool:
