Ds said that the higher chinese paper is easier than normal paper !!!Very weird ???🤷 :? :scratchhead:

      Really weird indeed . Aiya yr DS very pro ! ^^ I find the hcl paper comprehension oe quite hard D;

      Indeed, i feel that the comprehension passage is simple to understand but need lots of thinking before answering the questions. :celebrate:
MY DS say he had done the 1st compre before. But, the second compre a bit tough. For the section of editing, he say quite a few words can replace. He just replace it as what he thinks is right. To get distinction is not easy.

        My DS is now enjoying himself and starts to play computer game. To him is like he has just walked out of torturing PSLE stage. Turn crazy.

        Do enjoy from now onwards till 24 Nov.

          Wow! So serious aah?

          So if u r interested to join say the chess club but do not qualify due to stiff competition, does that mean you can't join the chess club at all? I'm not talking abt school team just the join the CCA? :?

          The only school that you can pick and choose CCA is NUSH.
          Because the student population is so small.

          NJC has a different trial system for CCA.
          Again because the student population is small.

          To my understanding, ACSI's students can choose their CCA also. ACS schools are very supportive of CCA, they believe that no one should turn down any students that show interest in CCA due to lack of vacancy

                  anyone knows how schools choose students for sec one cca? do they hv to go for trial etc.? must students meet certain standards to be selected?

                  The schools I know of hold trials and auditions and the best are selected for the CCAs. If you're not selected by any CCA, you'll be 'dumped' into the unpopular ones which still have vacancies. In secondary school, it's the CCA that choose you, not you choosing the CCA. šŸ˜‰

                  Some primary schools are doing that too. Heard from friends that their kids were either \"kicked\" out of the CCAs or put in \"cold storage\" after a year or so. Make the kids feel so upset.

                        DD bought 18 books during Border's sale and 'attacking' the first book now. She is šŸ•ŗ that she can finally lay her hands on them.
