2011 PSLE Discussions and Strategy

Blur Dad:
For the rugby team, the parents are heavily involved as well.
If you are in the school 1st team(not reserved), it is worst then taking 2 CCAs. My firend's DS was in the ruby school's team, train 4 -5 days a week, including Sat. For those who take 2 CCAs, only need to stay in school for 2 days. On top of that, need to miss lessons becuase of
competition.
Must attend matches to cheer, got thanksgiving dinners etc.
Sometimes the team goes oversea for training/tour parents follow as well. -
Ds now shopping for books and mummy's gonna :moneyflies:

Vlim, not working today? Plan to buy a gift for DS as a reward for his hard work. Ask DS what he wants and DS says the whole series of horrible science books 'to begin with' (Wa, maybe followed by 'horrible history', 'horrible geography' & 'murderous math' etc etc???) :moneyflies:
DS hardly asks for toys or games (except his DS Pokemon series) as rewards. DS likes to read and collect books, and once he starts reading one book must collect whole series! :moneyflies:
What a coincidence! I myself am a Pokemon fanatic. -
[ACSI also requires that every student does 2 CCAs each.
ACSI requires one CCA to be a uniform group. However, I was told that if you get in under sports DSA, and your training is intensive, they may exempt you from the second CCA.
i tot secondary school life is going to be tough with additional subjects. now i think its going to be tough because of too much time spent on cca.
