      I think GEP schools always have a larger no. of students making it through Rounds 1 & 2. My ds from neighbourhood school doesn't have so many, though it's still higher than the national average of 22. I believe the numbers will all average out to around 4000 for this round. Anyway they are only selecting 500 for the next round, so that's just 13% of those who make it through this round. Better manage our children's expectations.

          Some schools give out earlier while others later. Your school may be one of those which wants to give out the letters as children's day presents :evil: :evil:
