I totally agree Pingathot!
seems that even if I try to be as laid back as posdible…
seeing alot of parents ‘grooming’ their child gives me
indirect pressure and subconsciously i will start to questions
what are the best routes for my kids!!!
sigh…things were so much simpler years ago… -
Hi just wondering when the school will notify us about the buying of books and uniforms etc for P1?
The P1 orientation is on 30 Dec 2011 so it will be too late by then to get the school supplies? -

I bought the uniform 2 weeks ago. You can ring the
lady, her contact is on the school's website.
As for books, the school told me they will send out
the book list in October. Date TBC. -
Hi Porkypig,
I cannot find the contact for the uniform on the school’s website. can post here if you have it? -

Dear KSPs,
Hi, I am sending my son to Ngee Ann Primary next year. I am looking for a nanny/caregiver to ferry my son from school back home/ to his enrichment classes from mon- fri. Since there is no one at home so I also need the caregiver to keep him company and make sure he does his homework till I return home from work. The estimated hours are from 1:30pm- 6:00pm (i.e. about 4.5 hours) per day, 5 days a week. I would prefer an english speaking lady.
If you are a stay at home mommy and is sending your children to NAP as well, I won't mind picking up my son from your home (i.e. instead of staying at my place).
Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested.
Thank you in advance. -
Hello parents.
My daughter will be in Primary 1 in year 2012.
From the letter, it was stated that from 17th to 20th is the period for purchase of books, uniforms, etc... there is a time slot given for filling up the authorization forms too.
One thing I am puzzled... it was stated on the letter that parents are not allowed to be in the school on the first day of school or subsequent days! Is this normal for other schools as well? But we will be worried sick since it is a totally new environment for her? any comments, parents? thanks

Hi jocekoh
Yes, parents are asked not to be in the school on the first day. That’s why the school conducts orientation. During the orientation, you will see how it will be on the first day of the school. Don’t worry, there is parents volunteers and buddies to guide your child during the first few days. Even recess parents are not allowed. I have had gone through, now my boy is P4.
