My apologies, superbmom you are right about the price at $69. So looks like can buy from D seller. So the Ocher pan would be at $32+45=$77.

Anyone has the exact weight of the pan?

I already have a kitchen Art ceramic coating pan (it is not heavy, but very difficult to wash, very oily even though I don’t use oil esp after frying salmon) as advertise by D seller, that’s why I am still hesitating to buy another. I am hoping the Happycall will be different in this aspect.

          Dasalo,
You have the eco-ceramic pan? I thought it is supposed to be easy to wash, how come you find it difficult to wash?

I think the Happy call weighs around 1.6 kg if I recall correctly.

I saw, felt, carry the Happycall pan this morning, I think the weight reasonable.

I am going to place order today. ksme, i think this price at D seller is good as they have tracking service which is impt and $69 nett is good price.

The pan that I have feels oily all the time. It isn’t the eco-ceramic pan, it is exactly like the kitchen art pan but different brand. Mine is Queen Seshin. I’ll post pic when I have time.

Thanks to superbmom for the links and coupon. I’ve used the 10% for Hurom

              😂 😂
Guess what, I have not! Seems like this thread has already tempted a number to buy it though... 😄 😄 My Aunt who was raving about it that made me start the thread, has already cold storaged hers as she finds it too heavy to handle...so :?
              Angell,
You can borrow from your aunt and try it out, see if you like it before you buy. Actually, I am also worried about the weight especially after adding food inside. But I thought the advantage of a cleaner and less smelly kitchen would outweigh the weight.

I was using the Happycall that my mummy has.

It is very heavy and some of the liquid from the food does flow out when I was flipping the pan. I guess it is good for cooking stuff like salmon, cod fish. Tried cooking steak using that pan, cooking time is shortened but somehow, the steak turned out like boiled instead of fried/chargilled.

I think certain things still need that open fire treatment to bring out the taste. We use very little oil in our cooking so really no incentive to buy it.

The liquid should be from the steam outlet. For steak, juice will flow from the meat itself. To reduce the water, heat the pan till very hot than add the steak and thereafter open the cover to reduce water if needed. (I know it defeats the purpose as the cover is meant to reduce splatter but I believe the splatter will be minimum.)

I just ordered mine, the Ocher range. I am taking a risk about the weight, *hiaz..I'm a sucker when it comes to household appliances*.

Wah, you mean the very expensive Hurom Juicer? You sure are a collector of kitchenware. 🙂
