Hi, I believe the orientation on 21-Nov is important for parents and kids to know what we have/need to do before the school starts on Jan 12, such as buying text books, school uniforms, time of start and end of school, school bus arrangement, etc. etc. - Same applies to my daughter. You are going for the orientation on 21-Nov, right?

Hi, No worries. I received another letter yesterday entailing all the necessary information for the coming orientation, including the group my daughter will be in. They go by names of fruits - how interesting is that…I’ve friends receiving letters telling them which fruit does their child belong to. There’s Guava, Honeydew, Mango, etc. etc. Eight P1 classes in 2012.

I have also received a letter from YTPS re orientation on 21 Nov 2011. Noted that the children will be going to the classrooms. Any idea what they will be doing there?

Hi, I believe the kids will be asked to do some drawing since we’re told to bring pencils and colour pencils. Just a guess…might be more.

Finally registered him for school bus n bought uniforms for him… The queue for books is so long… He’s in apple orientation group. Anyone in the same group?? School bus under Aik wei.

I like their new uniforms! Much much nicer than the current ones.
By the way, the kids are required to wear black socks and black shoes right? Do you have any idea where to buy the black shoes? What type of black shoes is it?

I understand that the kids have to put the name tag (embroidered ones) above the crest on the top. Do you know where to get this name tags?
