any singaporean citizen willing to work at construction work site at $1250 per month plus AWS plus CPF ?
Earlier, when I mentioned $200mil with reference to general biz, you asked which nursing home got $200mil profit.

Then when I used NKF as general example of charity, you questioned since when NKF is nursing home.

Now, nursing home became construction site?

Anyway, let's assume the discussion is on general biz and not specific nursing home or whatever..

      Look at this http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=3317319&highlight=pine+garden

You can either read the whole thread or just the first 2 posts.

This is an example of employers trying to give very low pay and then complain to Govt saying no locals wanna take up the job.
      Thread content, reply from MOM:
\"In addition, feedback from job seekers indicated that the salary package you offered was low ($1000 for Assistant Baker, $900 for Service Crew), considering the requirement to work 10 to 12 hour work days. We note that other small food establishments with job postings during the same time frame were offering salaries of up to $1400 for similar positions and similar work conditions.\"
This is an example of greed.

:goodpost: Or the employers look for employees taking one small amount salary for one job, and ask to do \"rojak\" job scopes... ask to do OT no OT pay.

๐Ÿ˜ข Later no one want to apply, then say no locals taking up the jobs.

Or they want this and that skills, then say no locals fit the job scope...cannot find locals, so hire FTs.

IMHO, if SMEs cannot afford to pay higher salary or at least a reasonable salary, then hire lesser people.

If cannot survive, then close down :?

Then we must ask why our govt grant so many EP or S-pass, making these cheaper labour an option to employers.

imo, i think should there be any disagreements on views, please do not drag any body else especially family members, ็ฅ–ๅฎ—ๅๅ…ซไปฃ into it. not very nice.

sometimes the atmosphere just a wee bit too tense here. shd treat this place like kopitiam...just TCSS...everyone will have a diff perspective depending on where u r looking from. So donch have to be too personal

since when did i mention about $200m PROFIT for nursing home ? you couldn't even read my post properly and jump to conclusion ..... tsk tsk

there wasn't even a $200m funding for nursing home from the gov't....the $200m linked from aig is about MEDIFUND....that is why if want to pay higher salary to nursing home nurses you need to pay more fees because there was no $200m from the gov't as someone implied
