I know of a piano teacher who stays near Bukit Panjang area. She stays at Hillview Ave and has been teaching for 6 years. Really good with kids, and is a music undergrad from Lasalle College of Arts. Would be more than happy to give you her contacts, if interested can email me at [email protected] 🙂

*EDIT: Just an update, she now resides in BOON LAY central, near Jurong Point. Worth travelling though hahaha.

Agreed, well gd luck with that! Be sure to recommend if u find a good 1haha, was thinking of changing mine too lol.

Everything is going high tech. You can get a digital keyboard with midi port and some samples on a laptop. Plug it in and get a S&S sound quality.

Can anyone recommend a good piano teacher with proven track records, reasonable rates and is good with small kids, preferably staying around north-east areas? Pls PM me the contact and details if you know of someone. Many thanks! 🙂

Hi, I need to find a music teacher for my 4yo son in marine parade, katong or mountbatten area. Intend to travel to teacher’s home to have access to piano coz only have a lousy keyboard for the time being. Anyone has recommendations?

Also, does anyone know how to contact pianojazzy? I read from earlier posts that she’s in katong area, but I can’t pm her coz she appears to have a guest acct. Can anyone please help me out here? Thanks.

Nissin, thanks for the email address. I emailed piano jazzy a few days ago, but no response.

Sigh, if I still can’t find piano jazzy, will prob send my son to kawai nearby.

My children has attended piano lesson in China for 4years. He has not taken any exams yet? Everyone is going to Yamaha or others, I am wondering how is the lesson in nearby community center. I think the price in community center is cheaper. Please advised.

I may be wrong in this, but according to parents I spoke with, the standard in community centres are really quite bad (I am not talking about music schools renting premises in community centres). If you are serious about your children excelling and doing well for piano exams, don’t save on piano lessons. But be careful that some private teachers overcharge also.
