Why couldn’t there be a happier ending? I prefer happy endings.

I guess for many of us, the truth is that we will not realize what we have until we lose it. We need to constantly remind ourselves that those around us will not be with us for eternity. Must take time and effort to make them feel loved.

The wife in this case, did no wrong to the husband. What if the wife has hurt the husband before e.g. Verbal abuse over a period of time? Will she still earn your vote?

I know of one lady who has a lovely husband. Not perfect but still, a good man. She has a fiery temper and does not get along well with her in laws. Things improved a little when she got pregnant but it turned for the worst after her child was born. The infant was a difficult baby who cried non stop from day to night. Nothing comforted the baby, even when the mother had cradled him from morning till night. It came to a point when she hated being alone with the baby.

The husband switched to a job which paid better but required him to travel two months before the baby was born. His frequent traveling made things worst between them. The wife had higher earning power all along and had a good career path. The baby change all that and when the company downsize during 2008, she was asked to leave. All these added to the already tensed atmosphere between them.

Long story cut short, they fought so much that their marriage has crumbled. She tried to change things and her attitude but He still wants out. Does she still earn your sympathy?
