Suprisingly, the police sent us an email, informing us they managed to track down the syndicate & throw them behind bars.

God knows true or not.

Really so easy to catch them??? In China, think it's more likely that the police themselves are involved with the syndicate... maybe just to throw you off the track, then they continue call the next no. on their mailing list...

regarding the Nokia lucky draw, I received thrice over 2 months so my total winnings is 2.25M pounds :rahrah: :rahrah:

I hope no one really falls into this kind of scam :xedfingers: :nailbite:

Most of these are foreigners operating from overseas. Police can’t do much.

WCW:

i wonder is there any way to report to the police? or to catch them?

some ppl might fall into this kind of scam...

despite newspapers reports of people who lost $$ and advice from police, there are always people who still fall into such scams and some victims are even professionals and highly educated ones... guess greed and being naive/ignorant/misplaced sympathy do play a major role
