Hi! Anyone has any idea when is the distribution of the school selection booklet? I remember last year they distributed earlier somewhere before PSLE, till now still no news? I heard probably they intend to hold back cos they are checking on this year T-score, and they may probably reduce the entry score....that what I heard...

My DS sch has distributed the PSLE booklet guide to them last Friday.

Projects! This happened to my child and school of my friends' children too. They even have projects as homework too!

Good to hear that! But my DS school still no news, I hope we can get the booklet by this week,by the way the kids are playing everyday… they are enjoying themselves , they are able to play board games or cards games but no PSP in school… for our school we are having a camp this month end so the kids are very excited about it… and my DS told me he could only enjoy himself this month, starting from next month… he will stop and probably no mood for anything…cos the judgement day is close:(

Hi all

Ds says today test was easier than psle paper . Most of them completed the paper within 1hr and nobody check through the paper . Some of them having a nap after they hv completed it . :snooze:

Oh yes, another piece of info....
My gal was told today by the sch that their class is expected
to take another maths test trial paper by moe after their EOY exams......
They were being told that ....\" it's compulsory that all citizens and pr who had taken their PSLE have to take this maths trial paper...\" :roll:

Is there any purpose /reason of asking the PSLE pupils to take the test papers after PSLE and
2 yrs after PSLE ??

Huh? :? That indeed is strange. So the whole Sec 2 cohort at your dd's school has to take the Math paper? Is it set at PSLE standards or Sec 2 standards? Strange lah. They should at least let the kids and parents know the reason behind the test. The kids must be so sian having to take a test after their PSLE and EOYs.[/quote]No, only selected few classes by SEAB are required to take the field Maths test,
not the whole of sec 2 cohort.

oh yes, finally get to read the email, stating that it is for research purpose.

yes, the pupils are very sian after knowing that they need to stay back
juz for the Maths test, as it will be conducted on the last day of their EOY exam.

u are not allowed to use the scientific calculators…
