hmmm... tot u mentioned that ur DD likes to go GEP as there are many fun activities n she likes to do projects?

do u mean GEP is suitable for teh_oh's DS who dnt enjoy working in groups :?

I mean my DD is a blur girl, she did not even know what GEP exactly means...she just want to find a place full of fun...

I felt teh_oh's DS possess the GEP student characteristics.

I am really curious how do you define GEP student characteristics? Knowing that GEP has quite a no. of projects and group assignments, will teh_oh's son enjoy such tasks?
There are alot of bright kids and there are bound to be someone at the bottom of the class, so if he doesn't like being one (if he happen to be in that situation), then is that one of GEP student characteristics?

I'm very curcious how many students from Top/GE school clear round 1 GEP test . I think this will reflect a school realistic level.

Would think the tip top ones should be ard 30%. This is roughly in line with the % of ultimate PSLE scores of 250 and above in P6 for these schools. Of course there will be kids transferring out or in after GEP round 2.

last time during my DS' year of GEP screening, his class has 32 out of 39 cleared round one, whole school approx 30% cleared round 1

may not be the same every year

they do the round 2 test at home ground

verykiasu2010, you are referring to NY? This year should be more than 30%.

not trying to put down the schools, but we all know that much of the time alot of the parents in these hot schools have the extra resources, to make things happen!!

That being the case, would think NYPS has highest number of students clearing round 1. Its cohort is not small and >30% is a very high number. :imcool:

that batch had 204 (43.2%) out of 472 scoring 250 or higher at PSLE 2010
