I know of a mother who torn the GEP letter into hundred pieces and disagree with such screening for her girl.

Yes, very stress for the parent. One of my dd’s classmate gave up of GEP after the June holiday. Went to mainstream. The form teacher told me that the boy did very well in his term 2. But, the parent cannot take it, asked him to gave up.
