my daughter is going to P1 in peichun next year. May i know for P1, are there any activities in the morning - she’ll be in the afternoon session. I’m trying to plan her enrichment classes …
-
hi angelyn,
from my kids' experiences, generally no for P1. but sometimes, the school might arrange for talks etc before assembly so kids are in school half hour earlier. so classes in the morning shd be fine?

You may wish to refer to the handouts on \"Assessment Matters\" handed out to us in Feb 2011. The MA4 topics and weightage are stated there.Like georgi_cch, I have also not received any notification on the weightages of the topics etc e.g. like what marmum mention that multiplication/division will be tested up to 40 only???
Responding to marmum, the time-table sheet is just a simple A4 sheet listing time-tables 2 to 10, but my girl arguing that they will only be tested 2,3,5 and 10!
sometime quite frustrated at these inconsistencies. -
Hi anyone know a gd student care near pei Chun Sch

Quite a few Pei Chun students go to Deerland which is at Blk 50. Another group comes from blk 46 (? not too sure about the block no), the block behind the Community Centre along Lor 6, opp Pei Chun.

anyone of u were peichun PVs? can i know what do they ask during the interview? does it mean that once called up for PV, will get it?
-
dear Babyrac,
if I recall correctly, they’ll just find out your occupations, areas you can help as PV etc. but the one who interviewed hv and I was the previous principal, so not sure how it is now…
an office staff once shared that they have had years of experience with PVs so they’ll tend to limit tHe nos. as they also want all PVs to get in after all the hours put in.
However, in certain years, when there’s overwhelming intake in the earlier phrases or like in dragon years etc. some PVs do have to ballot. though hardly I heard per the staff…
so it’s not that bad? unlike some schools I heard who accept a lot of PVs only with the PVs ending up balloting year after year hence many end up unsuccessful.
