Hmm .....for her case, i think she can maintain the same as last yr, top 25 %.
As for GPA, it depends whether her CA 1/2 will affect the overall GPA or not.

The sch has revised upwards the promo GPA of yr3 and yr 4 to 2.4 from next yr onwards.

Wah..top 25% !! how her do it ?? so her ave is abv 85-90 plus for all subjects ? so what is yr girl GPA like ? close to 4.0 ??

A+ ---> GPA 4.0 for 80 and above
A ---> GPA of 3.6 for 70 - 79
B ---> GPA of 2.8 for 60 – 69
C ---> GPA of 2.0 for 50 – 59

For Y1/2010, GPA was 3.0 or more to be in top 50% in overall results.

The computation method isn't very fair. Son suay suay had two subjects with x9 marks. You see a jump with a difference of one mark. :scared:

Hi Nigthrace,

Agreed with you the GPA computation is not fair. I think we should follow River Valley's GPA computation:-

75 and above = A1 = 4.0
70-74 = A2 = 3.5
65-69 = B3 = 3.0
60-64 = B4 = 2.5
and so on.

i also guess so that it must be at least GPA of 3.0 to be in the top 50%.

Yes, i have been saying that DHS GPA computation method isn' t fair,
have been complaining in this thread.....
How come there is a disproportion drop in GPA from grade A to B or from grade B to C ??
And only 80 and above can get a GPA of 4 .0 .
