:hi5: i stayed @ Harris too... only 2 timings for us to choose for the shuttle bus... but bad service lah, the pm shuttle did not turn up..
I stayed in Harris some time back and its good place(atleast I and my family enjoyed)... they have free shuttle to the Nagoya shopping mall... the shopping Mall is far from Harris and Holiday Inn... the free shuttle is too and fro. They have 2-3 timings to choose also.IsaIvamum:
Hi All...
Staying in Holiday Inn or Harris ... Are these place far away from Nagoya Shopping Mall ? If taking a cab, how much is the charges?
so we went back to the hotel ourselves... -

Hi, anyone heard of having to pay Security Tax to go to Bintan? Heard it's now increased to $22 per pax.
If I am not wrong, it is adjusted since May10.
S$22 per pax for 2-ways, it is for both taxes & levy. -

Agree!! Bintan beaches are SO MUCH NICER AND CLEANER than Sentosa :imcool:Lookingforsale:
if it's like that, I might as well just park myself at Sentosa....
But you don't get really nice beaches in Sentosa... -
I should recommend Bintan for a nice relaxing time with your family. Away from the bustling city and just relax and think nothing but just the sand, sea and sun. Its a bit pricy and they do use S$ but once you’re there its fabulous. I’ve stayed at almost all the resort in Bintan and i give a thumbs up to Nirwana Resort (for those with children) They kids will simply love it! They have activities for the kids (again it will be in S$) but what can i say, when you’re on holiday you will still have to spend…right?
For Batam, i strong recommend Batam Beach Resort. Its fabulous! Harris is also family friendly, they have bowling alley (kinda rundown but ok for fun), food is ok if you are not choosy…apart from that its nice.
The important thing is to have fun and spending time with your love ones -
I heard of Harmoni One, Batam … Pls advice.
Thanks -
what's there to do at Bintan Lagoon Resort beside the nice beach?
do they have things like archery, dirt-buggy, etc like in Nirwana Resort?
-
Hi TanKee
Bintan Lagoon Resort is slightly pricy but frankly speaking all beaches in Bintan is nice. Only Bintan Lagoon is more for golfers
Nirwana Resort are more for those with families and their pool is amazing
Mayang Sari Resort are more for those honeymoons and just those wanna getaway with their love ones..no swimming pool but you can go to Nirwana to swim at their pool as they are affiliated
Yes you can do archery, dirt buggy, table tennis and all are near Nirwana Resort. There's free shuttle to these places only for those staying at Nirwana and Mayang Sari Resort coz they are affiliated. But if you wanna stay at Bintan Lagoon i tink you can hire a buggy ride and drive yourself to the palces there. Its pretty near and you need to bring your driving licence to hire the buggy
here's the link for Bintan Lagoon Resort if you want to know more

Here's for Nirwana Resort

Hope these helps
