        heya mintymin mei,

Ya, waiting but dun wanna pop too soon as really unprepared. Still need to purchase some items and get myself emotionally prepared first.

        Thinking of breastfeeding scares me…haha

          hi tigger88,

so envious, just 48 days more? I officially is about 80 days? but if little fellow decides to be earlier like his siblings, then it might be... ermm 60 days? it's just a wild guess. 🤷

I'm trying my best to bf for at least 6 mths to 9 mths this time too! previously working so bf for less than 2 mths for first 2 kids. the very last round, my dear \"friends\" are so engorged like rocks and didn't manage to successfully pump the milk out for days after days that I bf less than a mth as ther's no way the baby could suck them! so really hope I can bf successfully this round. fingers crossed. need to learn fr experts! 😄

btw, there's a workshop Tom. by breastfeedingmothers support group on their web. 12 to 2 pm at Waterloo at. I've just signed up yesterday. if u're keen can try contacting them? just $20 and DH can join for free!

              SAHM_TAN,

Check up was ok. Bb is abt 2kg now. I told gynae I am hoping to give birth on my EDD but he will be flying to Europe on the same day at 11pm. 😞
He expects me to deliver early but based on my last 2 deliveries, dd was born 1 day b4 EDD & DS2 was late for 2 days, I doubt I will be due early. Anyway see how it goes..

                Hi veraclari,

Dun get too stress over breastfeeding. It’s a vicious cycle. The more stress, the less milk. Take it easy ok.

Thanks for informing abt the workshop. For me, I have breastfed my 3 kids fully till abt 8-10mths. My nightmare is err… Too much milk at times n also experienced engorgement. I wanna take it slower this time as previously I threw away my frozen milk due to not enough storage space. All my kids stopped latching at ard 3-4mths and I spent a lot of time expressing out the milk. I find it very tough to go out the whole day if I need to express every 3-4 hrly.

                        Good morning Mintymin mei,

yes, my supply has always been good but all my 3 kids do not wanna latch from 3-4mths onwards so end up I express the milk out and do it every 3-4 hrly which can be very disruptive to my work at times. Sometimes when I need to go out shopping etc, have to time it properly or to go to the public toilet to express out the milk. I feel it's a chore actually so this time I just tell myself to breastfeed 6 mths will do.
