I’m a new stressed newbie. My daughter will be in P6 next year and my son in P4. I am looking for a reliable tuition centre in Woodlands, not sure between Mind Stretchers, Mind Matters and Learning Lab. Also, any recommended tutors.

Firstly I must say a BIG THANK YOU to parent-in-west for sharing Serena. I got to know Serena thru her in this forum thru PM. My kid said Serena is the BEST TEACHER EVER for English - Oral, Compo and all the English Paper 2 components. All my friends are so grateful for her dedication and passion with our kids... cos the transformation is really amazing... esp for creative writing and oral. Paper 2 - she is so thorough and super-kiasu (more so than anyone of us)... however kids being kids... they can be careless. In her blog, I saw she reproduced the modified version of some of the Synthesis questions for this year PSLE English. U can pick up some of the other Science stuff in her blog too.

AND YES she only teaches in the West. Mind you, my kid and I travelled to her every Sunday early morning since late December till week before PSLE… my kid and his friends would say she is really worth it. We don’t have a car… took a bus… walk a distance from the bus stop (for us).

Does she teach science too? Still looking around for a good science tuition centre as most of them are very full and require wait list.

Re Serena teaches Science - I would think so cos she was the subject head of Rulang when she was with Rulang.
