I think it's for P3 onwards. I bought even though my kid is only in P1 this year - he likes reading the compo entries inside. -
I am new here, and kind of ignoreant over here.
Who is this Yang Hong Ying & what's the book title? Where is this bookfest and the dates of this bookfest?
Appreciate for reply. :salute: -

Sorry, my bad for going off-tangent.
Popular bookfest - happening in 18-27 Nov 2011. it's by Popular and typically includes good prices on books, stationery etc, and is held in Suntec. http://www.bookfestsingapore.com/about.htm
During the festivals, Popular invite speakers. and during the time that speakers are on stage, their books may go for a good discount (much more than is usually offered during the bookfest itself). At least this was my experience last year.
Yang Hong Ying 杨红樱 is a famed writer of chinese children books - she is from China. some of her more famed publications are 《笑猫日记系列》, 《淘气包马小跳系列>>. I just raised that example as a special offer during Popular's bookfest, she has nothing to do with the creative writing book by TAS. -
Wow good to hear your P1 kid loves to
Read it. My DD is also in P1, may be need
To buy for her too. I will search in popular
JP to see if it's available there

Hi, wonder anyone has both the Tas creative writing book as well as the new release creative book from Isun super english tutor. Pls kindly share which is a better resource book. Am planning to get a good resource book for dd to self learn n both these books come with a 'high' price tag. Appreciate you kind comment.

Heehee, I actually have both. My kids are in TAS so I have TAS book. I recently bought
the ISUN one. Honestly, I prefer the TAS one. The ISUN one seems to use very flowery language but it seems a bit over the top. Overall, it is not too bad but considering that it is $30 plus, I do expect much more.
The TAS book is $12.50 (i got it from TAS), but even at Popular it is still $15. I like the way I am brought through the different strategies and my kids enjoy reading the writing more.
But I have to say that both TAS and ISUN books stds are higher that most of the creative writing books out there. -
quirkymum:
what ISUN book? got pic?

It has the journalist’s face on the cover. She is the writer for the book.
