I just reserved a place for my boy at Living Sanctuary Kindergarten (Hougang area).
Any comments about the kindergarten?

Hi, my elder boy is from LSK from Nursery to K2, he is 9 years old now. We find the teachers there caring and my boy loves them.
They teach the children to be caring, loving and they really take good care of the children there. My cousin sends her boys to LSK too and so far, no complaints.
My son’s Nursery teacher can still remember him when we bump into her 2 years ago.
Also, my boy’s Chinese is so much better when he was in LSK, he was more interested in Chinese then than now… Sigh
Their graduation show is always fantastic and we enjoy all the performances tremendously. I’ve no regrets putting my boy there so many years ago… -

Yes, I watched the graduation show and I liked it too. Just wondering how's the standard of teaching? My older boy is in a montessori environment and he is good in english and maths. However, the school fees is very steep. My younger boy is turning 3 years old and I wish to place him in childcare. Anyone put their kids at Sunflower Childcare at Hougang Mall? Any comment? Thank you

They just reduced intake for next year, which explains the long waiting list.

I’ve made a request for them to re-open the 3pm class for Pre-Nursery. Anyone keen? If you are, pls PM me your contact so that we can join forces!
The school said that they’ll consider opening a 3pm class if there is demand.
I really like the syllabus and environment. Plus the proximity to my parents’ place is a real bonus. -
anyone knows how good is their teaching? As in the areas covered and topic.

my gal is gng to LSK Pre-Nursery coming Jan 2011.
Was told tat they dont practice the communication book method.
So wondering does the parents get to have regular feedbacks from the teachers? & is it conv & easy to get the chance to talk to the teachers/P?
Wonder is there any religious teaching during the class? -

do u know if they have any bible study/teaching or any form of religious practice in school like praying before meal etc?
