My son is in P2 this year, just had his oral yesterday.
Does anyone know how much the oral will cover in the final exam marks ?
This Thursday is EL Paper 1 which is picture composition. Will there be any Listening Comprehension in the final exam ?

BTW, just to check if anyone has any recommendation of a good student care centre in Jurong West area ?

Our sons are in the same class P2B. Yr son must be Jiyou, my son mentioned him before. My son is Titus Ng.

So far how is your son’s exam preparation going on ?

Parents these days are equally stressed as our children.
Another week to go and exam will be over !!

Thanks but it is too far from my home. I’m staying at JW St 61, would prefer one nearby.

Is anyone’s kids at Brilliant Student Care at Blk 838 JW ? Any comments ?

It is a student care cum tuition centre. I’ve heard comments about such centres whereby the teachers will not teach the students much unless they join their tuition programmes. Is it true ?

I’m quite keen at this centre but have some reservations becos of the comments i heard.

Been trying to look for one better student care centre near my area but can’t find one. sigh…

Nice to know you thru here. Jiyou sometime call up Titus to double cfm some school things.
Not easy to get DS to sit down for study. Either stomach ache, need a pee or take a drink etc etc.

18 Nov, Fri is Juying admin day. Will the school be closed on this day?

I remember school was closed a day in Nov 2010, some thing like admin/promotion day for teacher.

The school Admin day should be on 11 Nov as stated in the school calendar - pupils need not go to school that day
