Hi KSP, you can use UNSW results for DSA, especially those with Distinction or High Distinction. DD added them to her profile during DSA this year.

Thanks for asking and answering. That was what I wanted to know as well. Do you know if they carry much weight in the DSA exercise?

Results and other achievements are both equally important, especially for those in the mainstream. For DD, I basically Kiasu a bit and added in whatever I could: from academics to music, CCA and even other skills like tennis, bowling, etc.

                thanks for sharing...

that sounds like a \"resume\" to me.... is there a template from the school (RGPS/RGS or the Sec school of interest)?

                  Welcome.

Oh yes. Usually required to fill in the registration form online. There are actually various stipulated components that one must fill in - like P5 results (SA 1 & 2), P6 SA1 results, and other achievements. Then print out a copy of the DSA cover page and submit all the 'proofs' (hard copy) to the school.

P6 kids applying for RGS now is like ... applying for a job, preparing a well written CV stating down your list of achievements, soft skills, leadership skills, etc.

                    gasp! :scared:

I’m asking on behalf of a friend. Will girls who transfer from other schools to RGPS in P5 be placed in 5E/F or just any of the other classes? Thanks.

DD was transferred in at P4. Despite all her subjects being >90%, from a good girls' school, she was placed in an average class. I think the same would apply for P5, but it's just my guess.
