Just888,Just wonder if i am from the PLMGSS, if I have a daughter, can I register in phase 2A2 in the P1 registration?
Last time when schooling my schmates bro can register their bros in ACS is this still so now?
It depends on which year you joined PLMGSS. If you join before Jan 1987 (that is, you had the chance to study at the old building at Boundary road), then you can register your girl under P2A2. If you join PLMGSS in 1987 or later, then you do not qualify for P2A2. You need to consider doing parent volunteer etc.
The reason for this is because PLMGS broke away from a full school to a separate Sec and Pri schools in 1987, after they moved to Lorong Ah Soo.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Eileen -
does PLMGS offer Higher Chinese at P1 Term 3 onwards?

Hi, I’m new here. My daughter will be in P1 next year. Does anybody know of any carpool from Hougang Ave 5 (or nearby area) to PLMGS? Thanks a lot for any useful info.

Hi Catherine, thanks for the welcome greeting:) My girl will be in Joy class. How about yours? I’m trying to find a better way for her to go to school other than thru the school bus. Bus company said pick-up time is about 11:30am and be back home at about 7:20pm. Guess it’s better to wait until after the orientation to make a decision:)

Any mummies know when is the orientation? Is it open to public too? I’d like to pay a visit to see if I like my child to study there next time…

Morning mummies:
I am also fretting over transportation to school.
Am wondering if it is feasible to say, car pool a group (3 or 4) of primary 1 girls and then book a cab for daily transportation?
it's an idea that I am toying with currently and of course if I can find families who live close by to where we are.
Angelight:
Orientation is on the 19th of Nov from 8 to 11am. Am not sure if the school will object to parents walking in and sitting in to listen but I am sure some kind of registration will be needed at the door.
Not sure if the school has Open House.
