I think is too risky to transfer unless it confirm to be in e/f class if not stay put will be better choice.

Thanks aqeqiq. That's what I thought too. A bit risky to do a transfer if she doesn't end up in the top class as she'll definitely be in the top class in her current school.

i thought transfer is based on vacancies that arise from any particular class. (if any)


if got vacancy, then allow transfer to take place & slot the child into that particular class - from whichever class the vacancy arises from.

but if no vacancy - how to squeeze a child into E / F class, that is already full house ?

to confirm, so far any parent here whose child got transfered successfully directly into our P5 or P6 E/F class ?

i suppose the key question for parents on wait list eager to seek transfer into our school is:-
after the Transfer - will the child end up in fast class or average class (do they mind)?

P6 effectively is a short year - July / August onwards start having exams.


does our school allow transfer take place at P6 (regardless of which class child had been assigned to), or stop transfer by P5 ?
